Check back often. Thanks, Marshall
Howdy, Strangers/jewelry fabricators/sculptors/hobbyists and anyone I missed. I actually say "Howdy" daily and it sounds good when I say it.
Welcome, this site is for my entertainment and you will find plenty to inform, educate and amuse. I'm compelled to add the following: You are not being asked or told to do anything with the information presented on this site. You are responsible for your choices/acts and the result of your choices/acts. Period. Sharp things can cut or puncture your skin. Heavy items can burst, smash and crush body parts. Loud and/or repetitious noises of various frequencies (hammering, grinding, etc.) can permanently affect your ability to hear. Heat can burn you either from the source flame or any item you may have just finished heating. Small items can travel quickly through the air and become lodged in your eye. Electricity can shock you. You can injure yourself or someone else in the area in many ways not listed above. Even if you are not careless, negligent and/or stupid you can injure yourself. You are solely responsible for use of any information from this site. Work safely.
One more thing - I know you have a computer. So, unless you are on the cutting edge of platinum casting and quick fire investments everything you need to know can already be found in a book. Buy every book you can afford to buy. I'll even have recommendations in my library on this site. And, there are many free sites which have tutorials and forums catering to the beginning jewelry artist. Here's a good one.
